Three great adaptations
This is my new Squier Affinity Precision bass, the budget-wise version of the Fender P-Bass.
The colour is Metallic blue, and it came with a Fender Rumble 15 amp, as well as a headphone, a strap, a cable, and a tuner.

Covering The Skyhooks BANNED 1973 song “Smut” off their Living In the 70’s Album….the song was written by comedian Red Symons, their guitar player at the time. The Skyhooks are most well known for their song “Women In Uniform” which was covered by Iron Maiden in the late 70’s/early 80’s.
Just my usual clean tone, using my Squier Tele, and a Behringer PH-9 Phase Shifter for the parts where the phaser kicks in. I’m playing over the live at GTK video that’s on Youtube below, Don’t let the goofey costumes scare you too much, heck, it’s half of what makes the whole thing funny….

Hello all!! This video is all about Sarah Water’s ‘Affinity’ – her second novel recently adapted into a tv drama (like has been done with Tipping The Velvet and Fingersmith).
It is taken from Margaret’s perspective (a fascinating and complex character) and all the thoughts she has going around in her head after meeting Selina.
The song is of course All The Things She Said by T.A.T.U – a popular song for music videos I know, but one that I love too and wanted to put my own spin on it!
